Our commitment
Care works best when it starts with listening.
Behind every care arrangement is a real person, a real home, and a family doing their best to navigate something deeply personal.
Hibant is an introductory agency that connects families directly with experienced, reliable self-employed carers who genuinely care about the people they support. From visiting care and companionship to dementia and end of life support, every arrangement is shaped around the individual.
We are built around fair compensation. On Hibant, carers keep around 90 to 92 pence of every pound a family pays. That is not a rounding. It is a structural decision, because we believe the person doing the caring should be the one who benefits from it most.
What makes us different
Care, built around people.
We celebrate individuality and human connection, helping families and carers form trusted, one-to-one relationships.
Empowering people, supporting families
Care works best when people feel respected, listened to, and understood. We shape care around real lives and real homes, not rigid systems.
Personalised care, shaped around you
No two people are the same, and neither is their care. Carers take time to understand routines, preferences, and personalities before care begins.
Carefully vetted, thoughtfully introduced
All carers are vetted by people who have worked in care themselves. Families meet carers before any commitment is made, so care begins with reassurance rather than uncertainty.
Fair pay creates better care
Carers on Hibant keep around 90 to 92 pence of every pound a family pays, earning on average around £20 per hour. When carers feel genuinely valued, they stay, and that continuity changes everything.
Why Hibant exists
A founder who has been in the room.
Our founder is a former care worker who has worked closely with individuals and families, and has seen, first hand, the quiet struggles that often sit behind care arrangements.
For families, care can feel impersonal. Different carers arrive each week, relationships struggle to form. Care is frequently shaped by rigid systems rather than by real lives.
Hibant was created to bring care back to what it should be. Human, relational, and built on trust.
Together at home, where it matters most.

What Hibant stands for
Built on a few simple beliefs.
We are not yet taking on clients, but we are building Hibant around principles we will never compromise on.
Care should feel like care.
Not like a service. Not like a transaction. Families deserve to feel understood, and the people who care for their loved ones deserve to feel respected. We are building Hibant to make both of those things possible at the same time.
One consistent person matters.
The revolving door of carers is one of the most painful parts of the current system. We believe in one trusted person, one ongoing relationship, and care that has the chance to become something genuinely meaningful to both sides.
Carers deserve better.
The care industry has long asked carers to do extraordinary work for ordinary pay. On Hibant, carers keep the vast majority of what families pay, because we believe a carer who feels valued brings something qualitatively different into the room. It shows.
You do not have to figure this out alone.
If you are unsure what kind of support would help, call or email us. We aim to respond within a few hours, and will talk things through with care, patience, and understanding.

Rooted in London
Built for real people, in real communities.
Hibant starts in London because this city is where we come from, where we know the streets, and where we believe we can make care feel different. London is not one place. It is hundreds of neighbourhoods, terraced streets, purpose-built flats, and family homes where real people are navigating something deeply personal, often quietly, and often alone.
We want to build something that belongs here. A care platform that reflects the warmth, diversity, and quiet dignity of the people who live in this city, and that supports the carers who show up for them every single day.
This is about more than a service. It is about changing how care feels for the families who need it, and how it is valued by the people who give it.
About Hibant
Care Beyond Compare.
At Hibant Care, we connect families with caregivers who truly care. Our focus on trust and human connection ensures compassionate support for all service users.
Why Hibant exists
Our founder is a former care worker who has worked closely with individuals and families and has seen, first hand, the quiet struggles that often sit behind care arrangements.
For families and service users, care can feel impersonal. Different carers may arrive each week, relationships struggle to form, and families are often not given the chance to properly understand whether a carer will be the right fit before care starts. Care is frequently shaped by rigid systems rather than by real lives.
For self-employed carers, the work can be exhausting. Many are not fairly compensated for the time, energy, and emotional labour they give. Long hours, limited choice, and feeling undervalued can lead to burnout.
Hibant was created to bring care back to what it should be. Human, relational, and built on trust.
The vision
Connect families with exceptional self-employed carers who want to build genuine relationships with the people they support. Create space for carers to feel valued and fairly paid so they can show up fully and consistently.
Give families real choice, continuity, and care that adapts to their lives rather than the other way around. Hibant exists because care works best when people feel seen, supported, and respected on both sides of the relationship.
Fair pay, better care
The average domiciliary care worker in the UK earns somewhere between £10 and £12 per hour, often less once unpaid travel time between visits is factored in. It is one of the most demanding jobs in the country and one of the least financially rewarded. The consequence is a sector with high turnover, exhausted workers, and families who rarely see the same face twice.
At Hibant, we believe this does not have to be the case. We operate as an introductory agency, which means we remove the layer of overhead that traditionally sits between carers and the families they support. Carers on Hibant set their own rates and keep around 90 to 92 pence of every pound a family pays them. In practice, this means carers on Hibant tend to earn in the region of £20 per hour, compared to the sector average of around £13. That is approximately 54 percent more, not through magic, but simply by removing the layers of overhead that have always made care an underpaid profession.
The families we work with do not pay more to receive better care. They simply pay in a way that reaches the carer rather than being absorbed by agency margins. When carers feel genuinely valued, they stay. They invest in the people they support. They show up with energy, patience, and the kind of quiet presence that makes a real difference in someone's daily life. Everyone benefits when the person doing the caring is properly supported.
"We want care to feel like care. Warm, consistent, and given by someone who genuinely means it."

Visiting Care
Sometimes, a little help can make a big difference. Visiting care offers support with everyday tasks, shaped around your routine, never rushed appointments. Visits last a minimum of one hour.
Personal Care
Personal care is about dignity, trust, and respect. Carers provide sensitive, one-to-one support with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Always at your pace, in your home.
Companionship
Care is not only about physical needs. Companionship support is for those who may feel lonely or who simply benefit from having someone to talk to. Often it brings lightness and joy back into everyday life.
Dementia Care
Living with dementia affects the whole family. Dementia care on Hibant focuses on patience, familiarity, and understanding, helping create calm routines and steady, reassuring presence.
Social Support
Sometimes, the hardest part is getting out of the house. Social support helps people feel confident attending appointments, visiting friends, or taking part in activities they enjoy.
Overnight Care
For many families, nights are the hardest. Overnight care offers peace of mind during the hours when worries feel heavier. Offered as sleeping night or waking night care depending on your needs.
Live-in Care
Sometimes, ongoing support is needed to feel truly safe at home. With live-in care, a carer stays in the home and becomes a familiar, trusted presence bringing stability and comfort.
Respite Care
Caring for someone you love can be deeply rewarding, and deeply tiring. Respite care provides short-term support so family members can rest, knowing their loved one is in safe, caring hands.
Post-operative Care
Coming home from hospital can feel daunting. Post-operative care supports recovery by helping with mobility, meals, medication reminders, and day-to-day tasks at home.
Emergency Care
Life doesn't always give us time to prepare. Emergency care is available for those moments when support is needed urgently. Contact Hibant directly and we will do our very best to respond quickly.
End of Life Care
End-of-life care is about comfort, presence, and dignity. Carers provide gentle, compassionate support during this deeply personal time, helping families feel supported and never alone.
Household Support
Sometimes it is the small things that feel hardest. Household support helps with tasks like cleaning, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation, allowing families to focus on being together.
Care built around you.
Every family is different. Many people choose a combination of services, and needs can change over time. You do not have to figure this out alone.

Step by step
How it works.
Every step of finding care should feel as calm as the care itself.
01
Get in touch
Families call or email. We listen and take time to understand the situation, what kind of care is needed, where, and what kind of person would feel right. There is no obligation and no pressure.
02
We suggest suitable carers
Hibant manually identifies carers who fit your needs, location, and personality. This is done thoughtfully by people who understand care, not by an algorithm.
03
Meet your carers
Families have virtual or phone introductions with carers before making any decisions. Ask questions, get a sense of who feels right. There is no commitment until it feels right.
04
Choose with confidence
You choose who feels right, in your own time, with no pressure. Care begins only once you feel certain. We never rush the decision that matters most.
05
Secure payment and care begins
Payment is taken in advance through our secure platform. Care starts, and after each visit your carer writes a note so you always know what happened.
06
Ongoing reassurance
Families can view care notes, care history, and their care team details at any time. You are always in the loop, always in control, and never left wondering.
