Hibant Care is an introductory care agency based in London, United Kingdom. We connect families and service users with self-employed carers. When we refer to "Hibant", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Hibant Care.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Hibant Care is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our platform. You can contact us at hello@hibantcare.com.

What data we collect

We collect information you give us directly, including:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your location within London
• Details about your care needs or your experience as a carer
• Login credentials (email and password, stored securely via Supabase)
• Messages you send us through the contact form or by email
• Interest registration details if you sign up to hear from us before launch

We may also collect limited technical data automatically, including your approximate location, browser type, and pages visited, for the purpose of improving our service.

How we use your data

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Hibant Care service
• Match families with suitable carers
• Manage bookings and payments
• Communicate with you about your account, bookings, or enquiries
• Contact you before or at launch if you have registered your interest
• Improve our website and services
• Comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. In practice:

• Account data is retained for the life of your account and for up to 7 years afterwards for legal and financial record-keeping purposes
• Interest registration data is retained until Hibant has launched and contacted you, or until you ask us to remove it
• Contact form submissions are retained for up to 3 years

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Who we share your data with

We work with a small number of trusted service providers who help us operate the platform:

• Supabase: our database and authentication provider. Data is stored on servers within the EU.
• Stripe: our payment processor, used to handle booking payments securely.
• Netlify: our hosting provider.

Each provider is bound by appropriate data processing agreements. We do not share your data with carers beyond what is necessary to facilitate an introduction, or with any other third parties for marketing purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure: ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances
• Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data

• Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time
