Most providers we work with tell us finding short-notice cover eats hours a week. Here is how Hibant trims that down.

Tell us the shift

Dates, hours, type of service, and the kind of person who would fit your team. A one-line email is usually enough.

We match from our network

We shortlist pre-vetted, self-employed carers who match your service type and area, and share their profiles.

You engage the carer directly

You agree the rate and terms with the carer. They invoice you. No agency markup sits in between.

Hibant handles the introduction

DBS checks, references, right to work and insurance are verified before we introduce anyone.

A note on our model. Hibant is an introductory care agency, not a care provider. We are exempt from CQC registration under CQC's published guidance on introductory agencies and individual care workers. Carers are self-employed and individually accountable for the care they deliver.

One introductory fee per match. You pay the carer directly at whatever hourly rate you agree. No weekly markup, no minimum commitment, no contract lock-in.

Questions providers ask us.

Are you CQC registered?

No. As an introductory agency we are exempt under CQC's published guidance on introductory agencies and individual care workers. The carers we introduce are self-employed and individually responsible for the care they deliver.

How quickly can you cover a shift?

Typically 24 to 48 hours for standard cover. Complex or specialist cover can take 2 to 5 days depending on the service type and location.

Are your carers employees or contractors?

Self-employed contractors. You engage them directly, agree the rate, and receive their invoice. Hibant is not a party to the working arrangement.

What areas do you cover?

Greater London and the South East currently. If you're outside this area, still drop us a line. We can sometimes match across longer distances for live-in or block cover.

Do you offer long-term cover, or only short gaps?

Both. Some carers take on steady rotas through Hibant, others only pick up short-notice shifts. Tell us what shape the cover needs to be and we'll match accordingly.

What does it cost to try?

Nothing to enquire. The introductory fee applies only once you confirm a match and the carer starts work.
